Ok i brought my grill to help out at my church for the 25th Anniversary Meeting it was a great time had by all, had 10 pastors speak on the first day alone.
We made Hotdogs, Hamburgers and Sausage's on the grill for 72 people. Anyway i left my grill there and was to pick up today but we had a strong wind storm hit last night and it flipped my grill over on to the handle. Lucky for me that is the only issue everything else is fine. But i am looking to see if anyone might have only hiding in their garage, shed or whatever and would sell it to me.

Thank you ahead time for any and all replies.

Sorry to hear that Kevin, hope someone has one. It was really windy here in Prescott Valley also. Popped a couple of covers off the grills but no damage.

Thanks Rich I am glad this happened after the party, as high winds would riuned everything. And yes we have had a few windy afternoons lately.

@Kevin L (NKY) are the ends of the handle round where they mount in to the end cap?

I'm wondering if a round SS handle from a gold B/C would work. I think I have one.

No, I don't think they would work. The curved handle attaches to the end caps at a bit of angle.

Dan. The top 2/3s is round there is slot routered for a flat surface for the mounting screw , if that helps. I will take a photo in the AM so you can compare.

Ok here is a few photos of the handle ends so you can see the shape of the mounting area. If you need more photos let mecknow

That's different from the gold lid, so unfortunately I don't have a handle.

Best of luck getting one.

Thanks for your help.

One of the many benefits of owning an old Weber is part availability after 20 years. Glad that you've found it Kevin.

Reminds me of years ago when I had an old Subaru Justy (tiny city car) and needed to replace a side winker cover. I went through all the regular aftermarket car parts stores and nobody had it. Junk yard had it and wanted a crazy amount for it, 40-50 bucks or so.
Finally I want to the dealer, they had it in stock, price was $1.50 😄 sometimes you get lucky.

That's why you always check with the company first, you never know !

Ok so I have handle on order from Weber. But while I am waiting and I can always use a spare I glued the broken one together and then used some of Jon's idea of painting it a contrasting color "Blue" I am liking how this looks along with the black so I may continue painting the side tables also.

It would at least be interesting to see how long it lasts. I like the paint job. Was it broken on both ends?

Yes both ends cleaned with alcohol and the glued with gorilla glue.
Cleaned up and put on 2 coats. Now this a test and wear coat.
If it holds up and cleans up from stains I will look at doing the other parts.
I got this idea from Jon Tofet, so we will see after a summers cooking.
