I’ve been using the Connect for a couple of years and like it more than the iGrill. Don’t use the app all too often as I know at what temp. I’m going to turn / pull food off the grill. I do like the Temp Spike app more.

I don’t know if I missed this earlier or whether it’s brand new? Weber has this listed under their griddle accessories section. I do know large floor mats have been available through Weber overseas...
I’d like to give TVWBB forum members Dave Moser and JimV a BIG SHOUTOUT for being really awesome in helping me to acquire another sidewinder.
The story goes like this;
Jim put an E-310 (2007-2010 model) Special Edition sidewinder (in Cinnamon) he had refurbished up for sale on FBMP early last...
Can someone tell me whether the 2015 Spirit E-310 is an east-west or north-south burner? Someone’s selling a brand new LP one in the box for $200 and the brochures /catalogs don’t indicate what it is, as far as I could tell. My guess is that it’s a north-south one?
No can-do on the NG. The “boss” says “no”. That’s the end of that road. It might not be worth it. They won’t haggle much on the price ($425). It needs to come off a 2 level deck and the PITA with trying to convert it, I don’t know…
I’ve been checking daily on FBMP and this one is only 30 minutes away from me. The decent ones I’ve seen on FBMP are hours away and ones nearby are seriously rust eaten.
Thanks, Larry. I don’t mind putting the money into it in order to do it correctly and safely. As long as the conversion provides a result as good as it should be.
Our furnace and water heater run on gas but nothing else. Don’t know if I’d want to run a grill on NG. Am happy throwing money at LP.
