Curb Alert !!!

I picked up one of those today, but without the side burner. It has a right side shelf instead.
Someone needs to grab that one.

Tempting.

I think they just lowered the price.

The hubby is sleeping on the couch for a while, I am sure.

I would grab that grill in a heartbeat. Cleaning it up would be simple unless there is some kind of health hazard from the fire ext stuff. I would think a good pressure washing and scrubbing would clean it up 100%.

Weber wanted $160 for the bottom panel on the Summit I rehabbed last month. $50 for the stupid LED tank level gauge. But, yah, the critical parts for those grills are likely not even available and having a shop custom make them is not really feasible.

I love it. "someone forgot" LOL
This is the type grill I would consider taking on- not to flip but to use.

I know it’s a rabbit hole, but there is something about them that appeals to me

You should! I love mine. It feels like a Mercedes every time I open it up. 50,000 btus gives all the power you could ever ask for! You can see my long post about restoring mine and coming up with a solution for the firebox in the “sticky” section of gas grills here.

Looks like a nice one. Go get it :coolkettle: !

If it was closer, I would grab it just for the lid and condiment basket.

Absolutely, it's a shame he ruined the control panel. A little more research would have prevented that.
