Actually the parts you can get for those are pretty cheap that is IF you can obtain them
You should! I love mine. It feels like a Mercedes every time I open it up. 50,000 btus gives all the power you could ever ask for! You can see my long post about restoring mine and coming up with a solution for the firebox in the “sticky” section of gas grills here.

Absolutely, it's a shame he ruined the control panel. A little more research would have prevented that.If it was closer, I would grab it just for the lid and condiment basket.
