Got the dreaded E7 error on Mother's day

I'm quite sure you've not said anything that has upset anyone, Sir. There's only one person posting in this thread that is a problem and it's for 100% certainly not you.

    New Television

I tend to agree. I think one hits a point of diminishing returns regarding picture quality. Plus, there are a few variables like ambient light, viewing distance, viewing angle, etc...to consider. The 65" Hisense Roku TV I bought 5 years ago has an amazing picture...I think I paid $350 for it...

    Considering a superautomatic

I'm quite sure the water at our place is fine and does not influence the taste of coffee, either drip brewed in the Moccamaster or as espresso from the Gaggia. It can't hurt to filter it for the espresso machine though just for purposes of maintenance. But the reservoir is small and the filter...

    Quartz v granite counter tops.

Went with quartz when we redid the kitchen 3 years ago. Looks great, easy to maintain. Hot pots stay on the stove. That's an overblown issue with the heat too.

    New Television

83" is big...but I get it especially given your description of the glass and ambient light. I went with a 75" 3 years ago setting up my basement home theater. I was very surprised by how much bigger it really is than the 65" set we had in our beach house. When I first saw the 83" and 85" sets...

    Considering a superautomatic

No, it's interesting information and I'm curious as I recall buying and installing one of those under sink, triple cartridge systems in. Our last house. It rarely got used and I recall using it after it was sitting unused for months. The water smelled horrible. I took it apart and there was mold...

    Considering a superautomatic

Thanks. Where did you learn about the filter drying out? I did buy a 2 pack of these and one is sitting in the reservoir DRY right now. I'll keep that in mind. We'll be down there frequently now. Pool is opened already(5/3) and the summer season is less than two weeks away. Just trying to...

    Considering a superautomatic

This Gaggia Brera has a removable brew unit as well. It's the same one used in many other brands and models...Saeco, Philips and several others. It came with a small tube of the same stuff you linked to. I bought a cleaning kit on Amazon too. Although, since it's essentially new, I've just...

Smoking Dad BBQ - ceramic Vs metal kamado

Assume you're talking about the SmokingDad dude. Yeah, he claims KJ is so great because they're so innovative. If they are so innovative, why all the accessories to achieve basic results? I see similar marketing with BGE. Local Ace has two on display but dozens of BGE accessories. The margin...

And it's obviously not just applicable to pellet grills, gas grills for certain. The ability to easily order, flavorizers, grates, igniters, etc...and have them delivered within a few days at very reasonable cost is great. I had concerns about replacement burners for my Genesis II...sure...

    Curb Alert !!!

I see decent, albeit somewhat expensive, parts availability. The burners are these S shaped tubes...right and left and not interchangeable. But you do have a cast aluminum firebox and stainless frame. No clue how they cook. I had a Ducane NG years back but it was right after Weber bought them...
