Pinata Burgers
"Pita (pocket) bread sandwiches were big news in the 1970s. This one, from the R. T. French Company, is a smash hit every time it's served."

1/2 ripe avocado, diced or 1/2 cup chopped zucchini
1 medium-sized tomato, chopped
3-4 TB. French's Worcestershire sauce
1 TB. salad oil
1 tsp. lemon juice or vinegar
1 tsp. French's Parsley Flakes
1 1/4 tsp. French's Onion Salt
2 lbs. ground beef
6 small loaves pita bread

Combine avocado, tomato, 1 TB. of the Worcestershire sauce, oil, lemon juice, parsley flakes and 1/4 tsp. of onion salt. Mix remaining 2 or 3 TB. Worcestershire sauce and 1 tsp. of onion salt with the ground beef; form into 12 thin patties. Place a spoonful of drained avocado mixture in center of 6 patties; top with remaining 6 patties and press edges together with a fork to seal. Grill over hot coals for about 10 minutes, turning once. Brush with liquid drained from avocado mixture while grilling. Slit outer edge of pita bread half way around and insert burger. Makes 6 servings
