Air Travel WSM 18

I have looked and have 18 will travel!!!!.. Any ideas , tips, suggestions ?? previous experience preferred !!!

I will qualify this with the fact that I have not flown with a WSM, but in a past life, I flew with large and fragile items. Nothing quite as big as the WSM 18 though. I did get pretty close in size to the 14“ version.

If I had to frequently fly with a WSM I’d look into getting a custom air travel case from one of these companies:

I know Versa-Flex still offers custom cases; not sure if Lightware still does.

In some cases it might be cheaper to simply BUY one at the other end!
