I will just leave this here

So I’ve never disassembled the end caps of a lid on one of these. My question is, has anyone done it? And would you recommend doing it? I got a really nice SS lid that I set on my E330, that has black doors. And I think if I painted the end caps on the shelves, and lid it would look pretty sharp. Thoughts?

I've removed a few. It's not that hard. I use a drill with a torx driver bit.

If you leave the thermometer and badge attached, the inner liner will stay attached to the outer part while you work on it. I worked front to back.

Personally, I like an all black grill but it's all preference. I like blacked out end caps and cookbox.
